MyIPAddress

If you play games over the internet then you know what a hassle it can be when you are going to host a game and need to give your IP address to your fellow players. You have to open your TCP/IP control panel, write down your IP address, and then retype the IP address for your fellow players. MyIPAddress is a small application which will now do all of this for you.

MyIPAddress looks up your current IP address and then copies it to your clipboard. To use it all you have to do is place the utility into your "Apple Menu Items" folder. Then when someone asks you for your IP address all you have to do is select MyIPAddress from the Apple Menu. MyIPAddress will instantly look up the address and copy it to the clipboard. Then select paste from the edit menu or use the keyboard shortcut cmd-v. It's that simple.
